While its small size makes it very portable, its weight of 1.3 kg makes it surprisingly heavier than a standard netbook. The IPS screen looks good and is very responsive. Despite its Atom processor, it performs quite well and is good for office work.

Ad esempio sarebbe stato utile dotarlo di accelerometro per “sfogliarlo” come un vero e proprio giornale. Apprezziamo quindi lo sforzo di Acer nel divenire pioniere di nuovi stili e siamo sicuri che ben presto troverà diversi adepti al suo seguito, tuttavia c’è ancora qualche miglioramento da fare. Quello che più ci ha dato preoccupazione risiede nella tastiera che, purtroppo, si è bloccata spesso (costringendoci al riavvio forzato di Windows) per colpa di qualche bug che speriamo venga presto risolto. Tralasciamo il peso eccessivo e la scarsa durata della batteria, stranamente proposta in soluzione a 4 celle da 3000 mAh, diversamente da quanto ci saremmo aspettati per gestire due schermi ed un processore che, nonostante offra la modalità di risparmio energetico, ha un TDP di 35 W.
