If you're a fan of video games, check out Transition, Gadgets 360's gaming podcast. The style of graphics in this game reminded us a little of the iOS game Leo’s Fortune. If you love co-op games, this is probably one of the best announcements you’d have seen at EA Play ahead of E3 2018. At times you need to distract the enemy for the second character to cross an obstacle. The Two players on stage showed how you can cooperate and help each other cross various stages. Even though this game looks like a sidescroller, it features lush 3D environments and beautifully rendered levels, at least based on the gameplay footage of Unravel Two that we saw at EA Play.

The footage we saw showed a big bird enemy that was chasing the Two characters across a forest full of broken trees. You can switch between the Two characters easily. This allows you to split apart into Two characters and solve puzzles to overcome obstacles, and you need to do this to progress. Unravel Two’s gameplay footage showed that you can pick up the second character and cross obstacles. You can play this game in co-op with a friend or in single-player mode. In keeping with the co-op mode we saw with A Way Out in 2017, Unravel Two will also have a co-op mode. Unravel Two features Two characters sharing one yarn working together to complete the adventure. This game is about Two souls who refuse to give up and keep trying again and again. Unravel Two is all about rekindling that spark and it’s a game about fresh starts and second chances. Run, jump, swing, and solve your way through a world of natural beauty and shadowy dangers, either on your own or with a friend in local co-op. When things are at their darkest, you find hope, EA’s representative said on stage. Summary: In Unravel 2, you play as two Yarnys (tiny magical creatures made of yarn and joined by a thread) in a puzzle-platforming adventure. This is a big change from the norm, which is games sometimes releasing years after E3 2018. The biggest surprise was that Unravel Two is already done and it’s releasing today. The trailer EA showed at EA Play showed a red character made of yarn “unravelling” slowly at sea as the character falls off a ship on a stormy sea.
I give it a 68%.EA Play was chock full of new game announcements and Unravel Two was one of these. In fact, I still don't know what the story was about and you can resume it in two phrases. You can't fault this developer on it's skill, but I think the story just wasn't that great. The graphics are amazing, the sounds is very good. To be fair, the last two chapters have excellent soundtracks. This time it's a mix bag of good and boring. The music was excellent in the first game. Not much emotions are translate into the game.
Suddenly you get a new power and magic areal support. The last chapter is completely at odd with the rest of the game. Most of the game now is about swinging and playing the alpinist. It was a total waste of development times. They are short, doesn't offer anything interesting. Also the children's pictures are not interesting. It is told with less ability and is difficult to relate to. Also the Not so sure I like this follow up. The game can be played like that all the way through but we prefer to play in co-op. And we help each other, I am not as good as her at the side to side jumping - so often she grabs me on my back. In Unravel 2 we play together, sometimes we race each other, but all of the time we figure the puzzles out together, deciding what role each of us will play in solving the puzzle - and we laugh at the situations we get ourselves into. With Unravel 1 we played separately - each finishing the whole game in separate play sessions. BUT the best thing is I get to play this with my 8 year old daughter. The platforming is improved in my opinion, the puzzles are more varied, the tutorial more in-depth (OK maybe a little long) - and the spark that guides you is perfect. It is an absolutely beautiful game, as good as if not better than the first.
